Tamper Splitters - Alarm maintenance and checking equipment
The ACT440 4-Zone Tamper Splitter is designed to give separate identification of tamper circuits where only a Global tamper circuit is provided by the panel manufacturer.
This allows troublesome tampers to be easily identified in the event of an alarm condition.
Splitting tampers into individual circuits also prevents false alarms caused by EMI/RFI interference, as cable lengths are significantly reduced.
There are four, normally closed, tamper circuits with individual latching LED indication. Clean changeover relay contacts are then wired to the control panel Global tamper zone. To reset after an activation, momentarily short the Reset pins. Size: 67x57mm.
