The video signal generator produces a 1vp-p, 75ω signal, which when connected to a monitor produces a black and white test card pattern. The video strength meter has a 7xLED coloured bargraph, which when connected to a camera gives indication of the signal strength received. The operator is then able to adjust the camera to obtain an optimum 1vp-p signal. Connecting both units to the coaxial cable will determine any loss of signal caused by damaged cable or faulty connections.
