ACT 33 Battery Capacity Tester

The ACT 33 is a new, innovative battery tester that can simultaneously measure battery voltage, internal resistance, temperature, current and Ah capacity - without having to disconnect the battery in order to test. Such ‘True-Life-On-Line’ testing is an ideal solution for when a complete shut down is not an option.

The ACT 33 includes a built-in comparator and datalogging function and is capable of a load test analysis. The ACT 3092CP current clamp provided enables simultaneous measurement of charge/discharge current, battery voltage, internal resistance and Ah capacity. With the RS-232 interface PC software, the user is able download recorded measurements on to a PC for analysis. An optional ACT 300XP Thermal Printer is also available.

• Designed for measuring the internal resistance, open-circuit voltage and terminal temperature of secondary batteries, including sealed lead acid (SLA) storage cells, nickel-cadmium, lithium-ion and nickelmetal hydride batteries
• Tests batteries from 1.5V to 24V with capacities from 0 to 1200Ah
• AC four-terminal method to measure the internal resistance by eliminating lead resistance and contact resistance to get the accurate results
• Dual display to show the internal resistance and voltage of the battery simultaneously
• Has 99 sets of composite comparator function, which can be set at resistance and voltage values to ge the reliable detection of battery deterioration
• Pin type lead which can easily contact the battery electrodes supplied as standard to get more accurate 4-terminal measurement
• Clip type lead with temperature sensor
• Clamp adaptor for DC current measurements
